Our Russian Rye soap is a nourishing and gentle blend for combination skin. All of our soaps are cold-processed, which helps keep and maintain nutrients for deep hydration.

Ingredients: organic cold-pressed safflower oil, local cow milk, caraway and dill essential oil, organic black walnut hull, organic beet root powder, and organic caraway seeds.

Inspired by Kassie’s Russian heritage, this exfoliating soap is one that can’t be beet! A time honored Russian tradition begins with a spread of chilled vodka, borodinsky, and something salty, such as dill pickles, pickled fish, or caviar. After you down the shot, you’d breathe in the rich aroma of the bread, then perhaps eat a pickle. For poor families the bread is passed around the table for a good whiff, poorer families would simply sniff their sleeves, and wealthy families would typically have their own piece of bread and eat it too.
