Our Mary Anne’s Wannigan soap is one of our beloved originals; a nourishing and gentle blend for combination skin. All of our soaps are cold-processed, which helps keep and maintain nutrients for deep hydration.

Ingredients: organic cold-pressed safflower oil, local cow milk, juniper and cedarwood essential oil, and dried blue cornflowers.

We were inspired by the river wannigans, a barge-like boat featuring a mounted cookshack and bunkhouse, that log drivers would use as a shelter and storage unit whilst transporting logs downriver to various sawmills. Oftentimes, the women would make their living selling soap, tobacco, and other goods as the crew made their way down river; the threat of forest fires, log jams, and timber pirates looming about.
