We are hosting our 6th Annual Holiday Village Market on Saturday, November 21st, from 10am-2pm, located indoors at the Swan River Community Hall in Bigfork, Montana. This year, we are excited to announce that we are combining both Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities to celebrate the season of giving and joyful gatherings. Shop amongst 20+ local artisans and farmers for thoughtfully handcrafted gifts, stocking stuffers, party favors, and pantry goods for grand feasts.
Established in 2020, The Village Market is a series of seasonally curated events organized by Kyle Dean and Kassie Dawn in the Flathead Valley. The Village Market aims to revive trades, share valuable skills, and connect small farmers, skilled makers, and conscious consumers with an emphasis on seasonality, diversity, and slow living values. By hosting local markets and workshops, we invite our community to gather, create and be inspired by the timeless art, culture, and trades with the goal to build a circular economy. By advocating for small businesses and encouraging market-goers to shop, share, and support local, we actively invest in our community both socially and economically.
With the rise of pop-ups in the Flathead Valley, we strive to set ourselves apart. As seasoned market organizers, vendors, and full-time artisans ourselves, we have a special affinity for our fellow tradesmen and women. All of our events are curated with such intention that participating vendors are selected with product diversity, functionality, seasonality, low-waste practices, and overall quality in mind. Therefore, we take great care in hand-picking Village Market vendors to ensure that all featured wares are either handmade (no AI), homegrown, and/or are tastefully upcycled, vintage, or antique.
